I've been a sysadmin and developer for more than 20 years. I've been using Linux and other free software on all my desktops and servers since early 2000's.

I hate the direction in which things are going. Most of the today's software is extremely bloated, privacy-unfriendly and broken in countless other ways. Things that were not-long-ago considered spyware/malware are now fully accepted (even recommended and praised); and it's only getting worse.

HUB64 is a wiki/blog about freedom, privacy, bloating, cargoculting and other important software issues.

It's designed to be very lightweight, fast and privacy-friendly (unobtrusive Javascript, no cookies, no storing/logging of your private information).
